Cookie Policy

Introduction

This policy describes the browser storage and optional external content used by novexahotels.com. The term “cookies” is used in the preference interface as a familiar umbrella for storage and related technologies, but the site's own preference records are held in localStorage. It is useful to understand that distinction before making a choice. You can browse the collection with optional categories disabled, and you can reopen settings from the footer on any page at any time.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small values a website or external provider can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. They can support a session, remember a preference or help recognise a browser over time. Not all cookies serve the same purpose, and a cookie is not itself a computer program. Similar technologies can perform related functions without using the browser's cookie store. The current NOVEXA code uses localStorage for its own age, consent and enquiry records.

03 / 19

How Cookies Function

A browser applies rules about which site can read a storage value and how long it remains available. Cookies may be returned to a server automatically; localStorage is read by code running on the same origin and is not automatically attached to every page request. Device settings, private browsing modes and data-clearing tools can affect either technology. If you change browser profile or device, the preference saved here may not be available and the site may ask you to choose again.

Cookies Used on This Website

NOVEXA does not set first-party tracking cookies. Its own storage consists of novexa-age, novexa-consent and, after a completed enquiry, novexa-enquiry. These names identify the local records used by the supplied site code. No advertising pixel, analytics library or social-media widget is installed. A Google Maps iframe is an optional external feature and may use provider-controlled cookies when enabled. Its behaviour is governed by Google as well as by the settings and restrictions in your browser.

05 / 19

Strictly Necessary Cookies

The adult confirmation and consent record support your explicitly chosen access and privacy settings. The adult gate stores whether an adult confirmation or under-18 restriction was selected; it does not record a birth date or verify identity. The consent record stores category choices, a version number and a saved time. These records help avoid repeating the same prompts on each page. Clearing them causes the site to request a fresh choice. They are not used to build an advertising profile.

06 / 19

Functional Cookies

Functional consent controls Google Maps on hotel pages. Maps remain unloaded until this category is enabled. When enabled, an iframe requests the relevant city-area map, allowing interaction with an external mapping service. Turning functional consent off removes the iframe and restores a local information panel. The page's written contact details remain accessible. This choice does not affect ordinary internal navigation, the enquiry form or the privacy information. You can use hotel information without loading a map.

07 / 19

Analytics Cookies

No analytics cookies or measurement scripts are included in this release. The analytics toggle is offered as part of the consent categories and records your selection only. Enabling it does not send browsing events to a measurement provider because there is no configured provider. If analytics is introduced later, this policy should describe the service, purpose and storage before activation. A previous preference should not be used to conceal a materially different information practice or an undisclosed provider.

08 / 19

Marketing Cookies

There is no marketing or advertising integration in the supplied website. No remarketing audience is built from your visit, and no advertising identifier is added by the site code. Selecting the marketing option saves that preference without starting an advertising service. A direct email sent using a mail link is a separate action, and its privacy implications depend on your provider and recipient. Cookie choices do not automatically subscribe you to messages or create a commercial account.

09 / 19

Third-Party Cookies

An external service can receive connection information when its content is requested, even where a browser restricts third-party cookies. This may include an IP address, browser information and the page context allowed by browser policies. NOVEXA's map iframe uses a restrictive referrer policy, but that does not make the connection anonymous. Review the provider's privacy information and browser settings if this matters to your decision. Rejecting optional categories prevents the site from requesting the embedded map.

10 / 19

Google Maps and External Content

Each map displays a broad city area for Sydney, the Gold Coast or Melbourne. It does not certify the street address of a hotel or mark an unrelated business as that hotel. The map's source is assigned only after functional consent is accepted. Before that choice, no map iframe is present. If the provider is unavailable or blocked, the page retains a link to open the city map separately. Following that link is your own external navigation decision.

11 / 19

Cookie Duration

The age and consent records persist until deleted or removed by the browser; they are not assigned a timed cookie expiry. The enquiry record is retained locally for up to seven days and is removed when the site next runs after that period. A later successful completion replaces the earlier enquiry. External map storage may use different durations controlled by Google and your browser. This site cannot guarantee the retention period of cookies created by another domain.

12 / 19

Consent Management

The banner offers Accept All, Reject Optional and Cookie Settings with accessible buttons. Settings show necessary storage as always enabled and provide separate controls for functional, analytics and marketing categories. Optional content is disabled until a valid saved preference permits it. Accepting every category does not activate services that are absent from the website. The age overlay takes priority on first visit so that multiple decision panels do not compete for keyboard focus or obscure one another.

13 / 19

Accepting Cookies

Accept All stores all optional category choices as enabled and dismisses the consent interface. In the current implementation, the practical effect is permission to load Google Maps where a hotel page contains a map area. Analytics and marketing choices remain inactive because no corresponding providers are integrated. You may accept, review the result and later withdraw optional permission. Acceptance is not required to read the hotel descriptions, navigate between pages or review this policy.

14 / 19

Rejecting Optional Cookies

Reject Optional stores functional, analytics and marketing categories as disabled while retaining the necessary preference record. The site then leaves external maps unloaded, showing a local information panel instead. Other core content remains available, including the contact details and form. Rejecting does not remove external cookies that were previously set by a provider. For those records, use the browser's data controls or the provider's own privacy options. Your rejection remains saved until you choose differently or clear website data.

15 / 19

Changing Preferences

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to open the preference panel again. Review the toggle positions, make your changes and choose Save Preferences. If you disable functional content while viewing a hotel page, the current map iframe is removed. Previously transmitted network requests cannot be recalled, and previously created third-party records may need separate deletion. The interface restores your latest saved choices whenever you reopen it. Use Reset Website Data on the Privacy Policy page to remove the site's local records.

16 / 19

Browser Settings

Most browsers provide controls for cookies, site data and third-party content. The exact steps vary by browser, device and version. Look for settings relating to privacy, website data or storage, and select the relevant site before deleting records. Clearing all data may sign you out of other services or remove preferences unrelated to NOVEXA. Private browsing can reduce persistence, but it is not a promise of anonymity from networks, hosting providers or external services you choose to contact.

17 / 19

Data Protection

Cookie preferences are separate from the local enquiry record. Necessary consent storage does not provide permission for unrelated processing of a message or contact information. The Privacy Policy explains the form, the information stored on your device and the difference between completion and communication through an external channel. Avoid shared browser profiles for personal enquiries. If you use one, clear the saved enquiry when finished and remember that the site's controls cannot remove copies held by a separate email or backup provider.

18 / 19

Cookie Policy Updates

This policy should be updated when the site's storage, integrations or purposes change. Its revision date is shown near the top of the page. New providers may require a fresh consent choice and a revised explanation rather than reliance on an old setting. We encourage you to revisit the policy after a significant absence or when the site presents a new privacy choice. No statement here guarantees the practices of a linked website or an external service.

Contact Details

Questions about the website's consent controls can be sent to [email protected]. Please describe the page and the behaviour you observed without attaching sensitive browser records. Written enquiries may also be addressed to NOVEXA Hotels, Level 4, 16 Meridian Walk, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. The control below opens the same settings panel used throughout the site, so you can review or change optional categories now without navigating away from this policy.
